Diagnose, test and replace car batteries at customer doorsteps and in the workshop.
As a Battery Technician at MySyara, you'll handle battery health checks, jump-starts and replacements for customers across Dubai — mostly at their home or office, occasionally in the workshop. You'll ride between jobs on a company-provided 2-wheeler, so most of your day is on the road.
Responsibilities
- Test battery health and diagnose starting/charging issues using a battery analyzer
- Replace batteries at the customer's doorstep, safely disconnecting/reconnecting terminals and resetting onboard systems where required
- Advise customers on the right battery for their vehicle and explain the warranty
- Keep the service kit stocked with batteries, tools and safety gear
- Log every job (parts used, readings, photos) in the MySyara technician app
- Follow all road safety rules while riding between jobs
Requirements
- Valid 2-wheeler driving license
- Basic knowledge of car electrical systems and battery testing
- Comfortable working outdoors in customer parking lots and driveways
- Physically able to lift and carry batteries (12-20 kg)
- Prior experience as a battery/auto-electrical technician preferred
